2017-2018 TCBA Elections – Vote

Voting for candidates begins on Monday, May 8, 2017 and will conclude at 5:00pm on Wednesday, May 24, 2017. Voting will take place electronically and eligible TCBA members will be sent further voter information via email. Paper ballots are available upon request, contact the TCBA for details. If you are a TCBA member in good standing you are eligible to vote.

The TCBA Nominations and Awards Committee thanks each of these dedicated election candidates for their commitment, time, and energy on behalf of the legal community.

Nominations Sought for the 2017 – 2018

Slate of Officers for the Tulsa County Bar Association

and OBA House of Delegates

The Nominations and Awards Committee is soliciting suggestions from the TCBA membership for nominees for officers and directors at large for the 2017 – 2018 term of office.  The Nomination and Awards Committee will meet in March to complete the slate of nominees, according to Zach Smith, Committee Chair.

Nominations are being sought for the following offices:


Vice President



(1) Library Trustee – 2 year term  

TCBA Directors at Large – 1 year term

(1) Large Firm   (26+ attorneys)

TCBA Directors at Large – 2 year term

(1) Solo/Small Firm   (1 to 9 attorneys)

(1) Medium Firm   (10 to 25 attorneys)

(1) Large Firm   (26+ attorneys)

(1) Public Sector Employee


Every member in good standing of the TCBA is eligible to be nominated for these positions except members of the Nominations and Awards committee.

The Committee is also soliciting suggestions for nomination to the:  OBA House of Delegates (15 Delegates and 15 Alternates).  Nominees for the OBA House of Delegates do not have to be members of the Tulsa County Bar Association, but must reside in Tulsa County.

According to Zach Smith the suggestions received from the membership each year play an important part in the nomination process.  A member submitting nominations should be sure their proposed nominees are willing to serve if nominated.  All suggestions should be mailed to:
