EAT FOR A CAUSE NIGHT: BENEFITING MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION “TULSA’S PET PROJECT”
Thursday, September 29, 2016
Baxter’s Interurban Grill located at 717 S Houston Ave #100, Tulsa, OK
The Tulsa County Bar Foundation Community Outreach Committee “Eat Out for a Cause” campaign has organized a night out at Baxter’s Interurban Grill (717 S Houston Ave #100) on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, 2016.
From 5:00 p.m. to close, 20% of all food sales will go toward funding the Mental Health Association Oklahoma “Tulsa’s Pet Project.”
When someone is living on the streets, so is their pet. Many individuals will refuse help and support because they are afraid they will have to give up their pets. Tulsa’s Pet Project wants to remove barriers to treatment and basic needs for individuals experiencing homelessness or mental health problems by providing short term care for pets so their owners can connect to services in the community, including medical care, treatment, housing, and job training.
Hope to See You There,
Mary Kathleen (Katy) Inhofe
